First of all, I would like to welcome each of our students with disabilities to Piedmont. We strive to allow each student here to reach their full potential. Please know that we will do everything we can to help your child succeed. However, we will also push your child to be the best they can be. We are an academically challenging school and we expect every child to rise to the occasion, even those with special needs. We look forward to to working with you and your child to meet their needs and see them succeed. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the EC program here at Piedmont.

This is my 20th year teaching and my first year out of the classroom as EC Program Coordinator at PCCS-CFA. I received a Bachelor in Science in Elementary Education from Grove City College in Pennsylvania. I also have a Masters of Arts in Teaching Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities. I am a certified Reading Foundations Trainer and have been trained in the Language! curriculum. I recently received training in the Orton-Gillingham method of teaching reading and phonics. I have enjoyed implementing these strategies in my classroom.
I have been here since October of the first year. I have seen the school go from meeting in a church to three campuses with 8 buildings. I love working with children and seeing the “light bulb” come on. I love seeing kids learn. I am excited to see the growth of the EC students each and every year.
