Good evening parents and students. This is Mr. Bridges from Piedmont Charter High School with some important information regarding the week of September 21st – September 25th.
On Thursday, September 17th, you received an email from Mr. Falls regarding the Lottery for In-Person Flexible students. Please refer to the email regarding all details about the lottery process. If you have further questions, please reply to the email from Mr. Falls.
There will be an interest meeting for Cross Country on Monday, September 21 @3:30 at Martha Rivers under the shelter between the restrooms and the playground. If you are not able to attend but are still interested please contact Coach Goodwin @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volleyball will be starting practice Monday, September 21st. Juniors and Seniors will be practicing on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:30. Freshmen and Sophomores will be practicing Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:30. Each player must have a physical and COVID form signed in order to participate. Each player will be required to wear a mask.
All athletics will be following the health and safety guidelines provided by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.
Senior pictures are scheduled for Friday, September 25th and Friday, October 2nd. Students with the last name A-L will have their picture made on Friday, September 25th and students with last name M-Z will be on Friday, October 2nd. Please refer to the email sent by Mrs. Huffstetler on Monday, September 14th for your specific time.

Any 10th or 11th grade student who has signed up for the PSAT should make payments through SchoolPay located on our school website. The cost is $18.00.
As we approach the mid-term for Quarter 1, please make sure that you are checking the parent portal for the progress of your child’s academic performance. Please reach out to teachers if you have any concerns.
Attendance in class is imperative for student success. Therefore, students should attend classes each day and complete all assignments.
