Piedmont Community Charter School currently sponsors the following athletic offerings for high school students–volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, cross country, dance team, golf, softball, baseball, cheerleading, and men’s and women’s basketball. We are proud to be part of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association. If your student would like to play college sports, click here to learn more. Middle school students can participate in cheerleading, volleyball, soccer, basketball or baseball. There are also middle school running clubs.
Because our athletic programs ultimately support our vision for the Portrait of a Graduate, students must be in good academic and attendance standing to be eligible to participate. PCCS follows the the NCHSAA eligibility rules located at this link. Much of the success of our athletics program is due to our coaches, many of whom are parents who volunteer their skills and time in service to our students. We welcome your help this season–if you’d like to volunteer, please contact Dwayne Prioleau at firstname.lastname@example.org.
